What is Online Banking?

Online Banking is a convenient way to manage your money from any personal computer with an Internet connection.  You can check balances, transfer money between accounts, view your account history, pay bills, and more.

Is there a fee for Online Banking?

No, our Online Banking is completely free to use.

What are the software and hardware requirements?

No software is needed to use our Online Banking service.  All you need is a computer that can access the Internet through a secure browser.

How do I enroll?

Simply complete and submit the Online Banking Application.  You may also stop into any of our convenient branch locations to enroll.  If you have any questions regarding the enrollment process, please call us at 888.828.1690.

Can I view all of my Bank of Canton accounts online?

You can view all of your deposit accounts including checking, savings, money markets, as well as a summary of your personal loans, lines of credit, and CDs.

Can I pay my bills with Online Banking?

Yes, you can pay your bills online if you sign up for our Online Banking Bill Pay service.  To do so, simply log onto your Online Banking account and click the “I-Payment” button.  You’ll then be given easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions on setting up your Bill Pay account. What happens if I forget my Online Banking password?

Call us at 888.828.1690 if you’ve forgotten your Online Banking password.

How do I properly exit Online Banking?

Click the “log off” button in order to sign off properly from our Online Banking service.

How secure is Online Banking?

The safeguarding of your financial information is our highest priority.  We use the highest level of security available, including 128-bit data encryption that protects all information sent between your web browser and our Online Banking server.  Our Online Banking service also features enhanced online security with advanced user authentication that includes the use of a security image you select. Each time you log into Bank of Canton’s Online Banking service, your selected image is displayed prominently.  If your image is not visible or an incorrect image is displayed, then you should immediately close your web browser and call our Customer Information Center at 888.828.1690.

What can I do to ensure the security of my banking information online?

First and foremost, protect your online username and password as you would your ATM/Debit card PIN code.  Never write down your login information and always be sure to log-off after completing each Online Banking session.

What happens if I forget to log off Online Banking?

Our Online Banking has a time out feature that automatically logs you off the system if your screen is idle for 15 minutes.
